SEWERS TO GET FLOOD OF BEER 1,500 Barrels of Roaming Liquid to Be Dumped Tomorrow. Tomorrow will be a sad day touch of Indianapolis* beer drinkers who chance to journey to the plant of the Indiana Breweries, Inc., 946 West New York street. At 2 tomorrow the company will dump into the sewers approximately 1,500 barrels of beer, taken over in the recent reorganization of the brewery. J. L. Hodges of the alcohol tax unit of the United States internal revenue bureau, and George Bugby, .storekeeper gauger of the same bureau. will stand by to supervise the ignoble end of the foamy, golden liquid. Mr. Hodges will unlock the vats and send thousands of gallons of Old Mausner and Indiana Club beer gushing to the sewers. Destruction of the beer is necessary, brewery officials say to make room for the company’s new beer, to be known as Circle City beer. It now is being aged, brewing having started in June.
