183.728 CIVEN JOBS BY STATE RELIEF SERVICE 10.000 Placed With Private Concerns During Year, Report Says. Employment for more than 10.000 persons in the •*** with private concerns and 173,728 person;- on public work* prefects was obtained by the combined Indiana State Empic- m*>m Service and the National Re-*rr*ployment Service during its fir ’ fl ca! year, ending July 1. This was announced today In a report submitted by J, Bradley Haight of the department. The eta e service operate a divi. ion of the Governor's commission on unemployment relief. The largest number of women were placed in domestic and persona! service 2 130 getting such jobs, o: which 1,485 were regular Jobs. A total of 20 353 were used for public >ork projects and 138.230 men were employed defectly by the public works administration. Fifth annual celebration of vocational and 4-H Club work done by Warren town nip is being held by Junior 4-H Club leaders of Warren {Central high school loday. , Special training each year is given leaders at camps. This year's encampment was at the Bov Scout reservation, and was attended by Misses Margaret Wallace, Inez Stewart and Juanita Fall, and Alfred MHhoefer. * Exhibits of vegetables, poultry, live stork, clothing and food preparation w ill be judged.
