WORK PROCEEDS ON 314 STATE ROADPROJECTS Construction Work Reaches New Peak: Detours Are Announced. Highway construction is at anew P*ak in Indiana with 314 projects under way, it was revealed today by the weekly report of the state highway conun isslon. The majority of the state's highways have one or more detours in effect. While completion of construction and surface treatment has permitted removal of several detours, road oiling has added new ones.
