IUTAL SLAYING OF SICK MAN IS LAIDTOWOMEN Semi-Invalid Is Run Down With Auto by Pair, Claim of Police. By United Press ONEONTA, N. Y„ June 21.—What police term one of the most brutal and unusual murders in New York state’s crime history will be investigated next Monday by a special session’ of Otsego county grand jury. Authorities detained Mrs. Eva Coo, 45, owner of a beer garden near here, and Mrs. Martha Clift, 28, who accuse each other of the slaying of Harry Wright, 45, a semiinvalid who worked for Mrs. Coo. Wright was killed last Thursday when run over several times by an automobile. His body later was dumped beside a highway to make it appear he had been the victim of a hit and run driver, police said. Mrs. Clift, District Attorney Donald H. Grant said, charged Mrs. Coo with driving Wright to Crumhorn mountain, inducing him to alight and then running him down from behind. Mrs. Coo ran the machine back and forth over Wright’s body several times, Mrs. Clift is alleged have declared. The two women and Wright drove to the mountain top at 8 p. m. Thursday, Mr. Grant said. Suspicion against the women was directed after Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Hunt and Mrs. iva Fink reported to police that they encountered the women on the mountain. A $16,000 insurance policy on Wright’s life was believed by police to have been the motive for the slaying. Mrs. Coo, authorities said, was beneficiary. PLYMOUTH ANNOUNCES THE SPECIAL SIX
RECENTLY you read about important reductions in , Plymouth prices. This week Plymouth again makes news. It’s the introduction of THE SPECIAL SIX ... and it changes the whole picture in the low-price field. When Plymouth announces anew model, thousands of people go to see it. We urge that you take a few minutes of your time and join them. It will pay you to do this for two reasons. One of them is the car itself .. . and the other its price. You’ll find a big car ... anew ‘‘luxury” model... with all the major Engineering Features that made Plymouth famous'.. .yet a 4-door Sedan costs practically the same as comparable models of the very lowest-priced cars —WITHOUT ALL THESE FEATURES! Consider that statement. Think what it means. It means that without spending an extra penny, you can own this Special Six with Hydraulic Brakes... instead of a car with ordinary brakes. It means that your family can ride surrounded and protected by a BODY OF SAFETY-STEEL ... instead of the ordinary composite kind. It means that you can have the added comfort of Individual Wheel Springing and patented Floating Power engine mountings. You get all four major features without paying a penalty. And finally it means real pride of ownership. For here is a smart automobile . . . with the luxury features people want. And the 4-door Sedan is priced at $620 f. o. b. factory. Today the prices of ‘‘All Three” low-priced cars are virtually the same. Don’t buy blindfolded. Don’t let “habit” rule your judgment. See this Plymouth Special Six at any Dodge, De Soto or Chrysler dealer.*
