MATILDA 6EIST BITES ARE SET FOR TOMORROW Kokomo Pastor’s Wife Dies at Daughter’s Home in This City. Funeral services for Mrs. Matilda Geist, 55, Kokomo, who died yesterday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. C. Hirschman, 921 Northview avenue, will be held at 2:30 tomorrow in Grace Evangelical church in Urbana, 111. Mrs. Geist had been a patient in Methodist hospital before her removal to her daughter’s home. She was the wife of the Rev. Charles C. Geist, First Evangelical church pastor, Kokomo. Surviving are the widower; two daughters, Mrs. Hirschman and Miss Esther Geist; a son, Edmund Geist, Newcastle, and two brothers, David E. Spiker. Urbana, and Paul J. Spiker, Gaston. Sarah Norton Rites Set Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah A. Norton, 85. of 3741 Salem street, who died Sunday, were to be held in the Ragsdale & Price funeral home at 2:30 this afternoon, with burial in Floral Park cemetery. She was a member of the Central Christian church. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. H. C. Anderson, with whom she made her home; a son, Charles W. Norton, phoenix. Members of Miss Irene Durham’s kindergarten class at School 5 celebrated their last day of school by presenting a circus parade. They not only helped prepare the costumes but also took the parts of the animals. Mrs. Helen Renigar Dies Funeral services for Mrs. Helen Renigar, 54, former resident of Indianapolis who died Sunday at Lima, Q-, were held at 10 today in the Moore & Kirk funeral home. Burial was In Crown Mill. Surviving her are the widower, and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert T. Miller, Indianapolis. Heads School Alumni Clarence Greenough today headed the public School 9 alumni association as the result of an election held at the organization picnic last Saturday in Brookside park.

ARMED UPRISING IS PLEDGED BY FOESOF LONG 'Last Warning,’ Shout 30,000 Irate Citizens of Louisiana. By United Press BATON ROUGE, La., June 13. Thirty thousand citizens were pledged today to armed uprising against Senator Huey P. Long’s political administration in Louisiana. Demonstrators from every parish of the state thundered affirmation to a threat “to write more of the history of the state as it has been written in the past—in blood.” The threat from an angry crowd which surged within and for a block around the community house voiced “the last oral warning” protesting passage of “usurping” laws. The pending bills would levy new taxes, set up a state department with control over local budgets and establish a state police force with power to invade cities and make arrests on equal footing with local authorities. Chairman William H. Hodges of Bossier Parish propounded to the inflamed gathering a stirring history of Long’s “tyrannical reign of corruption” in which “men have been kidnaped and at least one slain.” The meeting decided on appoint-
