FULL PROGRAM ANNOUNCED FOR BANK SESSION Code, State Police Radio, Among Topics at Next Week’s Meeting. Round fable discussions of problems now vital in the banking world will feature the Indiana Bankers' Association's fhirtv-eiehfh annual convention here Thursday and Friday of next week. This was revealed today in announcement of the complete convention program by a committee composed of B D Mitchell. Kokomo; Magnus Kreisle, Tell City, and Charles B. Enslow, Evansville. The round table meetings will include discussions of taxes, bank legislation. federal agencies, state police radio and the bankers’ code. Speakers -will Include Merle Thorpe. Washington. D. C„ editor of the Nation's Business, official organ of the United States Chamber of Commerce; Edward A. Hayes, national commander of the American Legion: C. B. Axford, editor of the American Banker. and H. N. Stronck. Washington, of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. Dr. Edwin w. Kammerer, Princeton university, ‘ doctor # to the sick financial systems of a dozen nations during the last twenty-five years, will address a joint session of the bankers and the Indiana Sound Money committee Friday noon at the Claypool, where all sessions will be held. The convention will be opened with an invocation by Monsignor Raymond R. Noll and speeches by Governor Paul V. McNutt, Felix M. McWhirter, association president; Charles A Dugan, Decatur; C. R. Keogh and Don E. Warrick, secre- ; tarv. The Rev. W. A. Rhullenberg. of j the Third Christian church, will j give the invocation Friday. Death on March 23 of Urban Schmitt, 27. of Ft. Wayne. Ind., inset, pronounced by the coroner as from acute indigestion, has been revealed as murder, because the conscience of Charles Howenstein. left, would not be stilled. Howenstein, alleged 57-year-old lover of Mrs. Louise Schmitt, right, told a brother of the victim that Mrs. Schmitt had poisoned her husband. Accused. Mrs. Schmitt readily confessed, say police, stating that she had put potassium cyanide in orange juice served to her husband, and declaring that the crime had been instigated by Howenstein. Both suspects were jailed.

Ind.i upon request from the Indianapolis city hall and Chamber of Commerce. It was announced that the matter will bp taken up with Harllee Branch, second assistant postmastergeneral, who is in charge of the new air mail routings. It had been dropped after the route cancellations and when the United States army was flying the mail.
