LUTZ DECLINES INVITATION TO NUDIST CAMP Attorney - General Believes Exposing of Human Body Illegal. Attorney General Philip Lutz Jr. still thinks nudism is illegal in Indiana, and he has no desire at all to visit a nudist camp. The attorney-general made this amply plain today in a letter addressed to George H. Oliver, Warsaw. Ind., who is operating a nudist camp at Lake Webster, near Warsaw. Mr. Oliver had written inviting Mr. Lutz to visit the Lake Webster camp. Mr. Lutz pointed out that he had instituted an injunction proceeding against a nudist camp in Newton county and added that nothing had

| developed then to make him ; change his point of view. “While we are glad to have you present your side of the controversy, we would not want you to construe this as lavorable to operation of a | nudist colony in your county,” wrote Mr. Lutz. “I believe the laws of this state prohibit exhibition of the human body in the nude where several people congregate as in a nudsit colony and, if the courts will sustain me. I will call upon prosecuting attorneys and judges to aid in prohibiting nudist colonies until the legislature meets and legalizes their establishment and operation.” Mr. Lutz recently refused a similar invitation from Mrs. Alois Knapp. Chicago, promoter of a nudist camp at Roselawn, Newton county.
