Young Makela is a pupil of Gordon O. Johnson, Shortridge mechanical drawing teacher. NEGRO FOUND STABBED Victim Taken to City Hospital in Serious Condition. Clovis Weathers, 30, a Negro of 2735 Columbia avenue, was found stabbed over the heart, lying in a field near Douglas Park and Thirtieth street yesterday. He was taken to city hospital in serious condition. His wife, Mrs. Hazel Weathers, told police that Weathers had been stabbed in an argument with another Negro.

JORDAN READY FOR TONIGHT'S CONCERT FETE Symphony and Choir to Feature Second of Festival Events. The complete program for the gala concert at 8; 15 tonight of the Arthur Jordan Conservatory in Caleb Mills hall has been announced by Max T.
