Mr. Smith said he had received word from Ft. Wayne that employes of the huge Wayne Knitting Mills have forced mill owners, under strike threats, to sign the national labor agreement. Local strikers from Real Silk, Fulton and National mills will continue adamant in their demands until a ruling is made by the national labor board at Washington, Mr. Smith said. No new disorders were reported to police today after two strikers received fines and jail sentences yesterday In municipal court pn disorderly conduct charges. Appeals will be taken, the strikers’ attorneys said.
