SEVEN-YEAR ITCH ENDED The itch (scabies) is highly contagious, if not treated it will continue for life. It is not a blood disease, but is caused by the itch-mite, which burrows and forms torturous galleries within the skin. The itch-mite spreads rapidly and is immune to ordinary treatment.
