URGES DEALERS IN BEER KEEP TRADE 'CLEAN' State Wholesalers’ Meeting at Claypool Hears Frank McHale. Prank McHale, “brains" of the state beer and liquor administration. through his position as unofficial adviser to Governor Paul V McNutt, lectured the wholesale beer dealers meeting at the Clay-poo’ yesterday afternoon. He told them to keep their business “clean and beyond reproach" or local option again would b n -n----voked, pointing out thirty-thr*** Indiana counties voted dry on repeal. Mr. McHale termed the Indiana control law the "best legislation of its kind in America.” Citing excise figures, he showed that beer drinking is increasing and whisky consumption decreasing in the state. “My personal opinion is that the beer and wine licenses are too high in price and that the whisky license is too low." "Stunt night” will be held at the Tabernacle Presbyterian church. Central avenue and Thir-ty-fourth street, tonight, under the sponsorship or the church's recreational department and the girls' Sunday school class. A playlet will be given by the girls and in the cast will be Misses Louise Wilde, Virginia Hull, Mary Katherine Stair, Patsy McKean, Alice Reed and Charlotte Carpenter. Also on the program are the Madrigal Singers from Technical high school, another playlet featuring Chester Song, and Misses Helen Lloyd, Helen Meyers. Alma Meyer and Mary Ella Pock.
