He was charged j with falling to stop after an acci- I dent. MELODY CONCERT SET Choir of Eighth Christian Church to Give Recital. An old melody concert will be given by the choir of the Eighth Christian church. Fourteenth street and Belle Vieu place, in the church auditorium at 8 tomorrow night. There will be no admission charge.

FORMER POSTAL EMPUJYE DEAD Henry Trimpe, Ex-Secretary of Civil Service, Succumbs. Brief Illness proved fatal yesterday to Henry M. Trimpe, 65, New Bethel, Indianapolis postal employe forty years, who retired last year as local civil service secretary. Mr. Trimpe became ill Sunday, and was taken to St. Vincent's hospital yesterday, dying a short while later. Mr. Trimpe, who was born in Richmond, was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic church. He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Ethel B. Trimpe; a daughter, Miss Mary Jane Trimpe; two sons, Emmett H. Trimpe and Robert E. Trimpe, and two brothers, John A. and Bernard A. Trimpe, all of this city. Services will be held at 8:15 Saturday morning in the home of a sister-in-law, Mrs. Ragner Laureen, 1338 Brcokside avenue, and at 9 in St. Joseph’s church. Burial will be in Holy Cross cemetry.

ARIZONA APOLOGIZES TO CAPTAIN LEACH Tucson Deputy to Express Regrets in Person. State Senator James Minotto of Arizona has wired Captain Matt Leach that Arizona regrets the incidents which accompanied the departure of the state police from Tucson last week with members of the “terror mob” of escaped Indiana convicts. “The chief of police of Tucson,” Senator Minotto wired, “is writing to you (Captain Leach) and Philip Lutz, attorney-general, to express his regrets at the unfortunate incidents which marked your departure from Tucson. “Chester Sherman, the deputysheriff who had words with you at the train is in Chicago now and will soon visit Indianapolis to apologize for his conduct. I hope this will eliminate any unfriendliness between Arizona and Indiana which may have been occasioned by the incident.”
