Annua] convention of the Indianapolia diocese of the Episcopal church, which opened yesterday, will be closed this afternoon with a session at Christ's church. Principal speaker at the ninetyse.’enth annual dinner last nifeht in the Spink-Arms was the Very Rev. C. B. Emerson, dean of Trinity Episcopal cathedral. Cleveland, who urged a modem crusade to convert the world to Christianity. The Rt. Rev. Joseph M. Francis. Indianapolis diocese bishop, presided at the dinner. He gave his annual address at the afternoon session. TAX MEETING IS SET Plans for National Meeting of State Heads to Be Mapped Here. Plans for standard practice of income and sales tax collect ions and passage by congress of a reciprocal law to permit states to levy similar charges ?n out-of-state manufactured products, will be discussed at a national meeting to be planned here Saturday. Announcement of the proposed meeting came from Clarence E Jackson, state income and sales tax collector. He said it will be planned at a conference fcere Sautrday to be attended by heads of such departments from New York Michigan and Illinois.
