LAST RITES FOR ELLIS ARE SET FOR TOMORROW County Commissioner to Be Laid to Rest in Memorial Park. Last, riles for Thomas H. Ellis, 65 of 60 North Campbell avenue county commissioner, who died yesterday of heart disease In the courthouse. 'Mil be held at 10 tomorrow in 'he Shirley Brothers central chapel 046 North Illinois street. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery Friends may view the remains today and tomorrow morning in the chapel. Services will be conducted by the Rev Bt*rt R Johnson, Downey Avenue Christian church pastor. Participating in the services will be Irv.npton lodge. Knights of Pythias. In event they are unable to agree, the county auditor. Charles A. Gossart, will cast the deciding vote. Mr. Ellis’ term will expire Dec. 31. IMMUNIZATION SCORED BY CHIROPRACTORS City Association Lodges Protest Against Diphtheria Move. Charging violation of state acts, the Indiana Central Chiropractors' Association has lodged a protest, against the city-wide diphtheria and smallpox immunization campaign sponsored by the Marion County Medical Society, it was announced today. Citing the cast of 1921 and 1927 which state that no pupil or minor shall be compelled to submit to medical examination or treatment,” a resolution adopted by the assertion declares that the present vaccination drive constitutes a form of coercion. Copies of the resolution havp been sent to Parent-Teacher Associations throughout the city.

URGES FEDERAL FINANCING FOR HOME BUILDING Recommendations Made to Van Nuys by City Realty Chief. Letters citing need for adequate and proper financing with federal funds for home owners and other prospective builders have been sent to Senator Frederick Van Nuys and Representative Louis Ludlow by Thomas F. Carson, Indianapolis Real Estate Board president. Mr. Carson pointed out that there are many hundred thousand dollars' worth of new construction which could be started at once if the "usual 40, 50 or 60 per cent financing were available.” He added that “this financing would be gilt edge inasmuch as it would be done for long-term tenants such as chain grocery companies, oil companies and similar firms.” Another field is the moderniza-
