‘CRADLE SONG' WILL OPEN AT CIRCLE THEATER Presentation Will Be Seen on Screen Here Thursday. BY WALTER D. HICKMAN Many who saw Dorothea Wieck in the cast of “Maedchen in Uniform" predicted corectly that this actress would be brought to America and made a star. Miss Wieck's first American-made picture, ‘‘Cradle Song, ' will open Thursday at the Circle for a threeday run. "Design for Living" opens on Sunday. Paramount purchased "Cradle Song" more than twelve years ago and put it on the studio shelf because the company was unable to obtain the right type of an actress to play the role of Joanna. When Miss Wieck was brought to the United States under contract it was decided to shake the dust off the manucrip and put it into production, with Miss Wieck in the chief role. The cast Is lengthy, with Sir Guy Standing. Evelyn Venable and Dickie Moore among the better known names. "Cradle Song" originally was produced and acted by Eva Le Gallienne at her Civic Repertory theater in New York City. a a a New Indiana Policy The Indiana theater has changed Its booking for the re-opening of the theater on Sunday, Dec. 24. It was planned originally to present the movie version of “Alice in Wonderland." After some discussion, it was decided to re-light the theater with the “Son of A Sailor" which features Joe E. Brown and has the comedy services of Thelma Todd, Frank McHugh, and Johnny Mack Brown. The showing of the Brown comedy ushers in a straight movie policy at the Indiana as the policy will be all sound, with no orchestra or stage shows. The Indiana management in announcing the screen policy announces anew price schedule. On week days until 1 p. m., the price of all seats will be 20 cents. From 1 to 6 o’clock, the balcony will be 20 cents and the main floor will be 25 cents. After 6 p. m., the balcony will be 25 cents and the main floor will be 40 cents. On Sundays and holidays from opening until 2 p. m.. the balcony will be 20 cents and the main floor will be 25 cents. After 2 p. m., the balcony will be 25 cents and the main floor will be 40 cents. Children always will be admitted for 10 cents. GAS KILLS ANDERSON WOMAN AND ROOMER Coroner Believes Tragedy Aeciden- j tal. Not Double Suicide. Bir Timm Special ANDERSON.
