FORD FACINC LOSS OF BIG U, S.CONTRACT Opposition to NRA May Cost Industrialist Much Business. By United Perm WASHINGTON, Oct. 26.—Henry Ford today stood to lose valuable government contracts because of his persistent policy of ignoring NRA. Ford products In Dearborn, Mich., said their dealers had submitted low bids for a large part of the equipment. Ford, always a foe of government interference in business, has ignored NRA from the first, and even though h£ is meeting requirements of the automobile code, NRA officials today welcomed the war department’s decision as in keeping with the government’s exhortations to the public to buy only from those who display the blue eagle. He’s a wrestler.

New York police, seeking a clew in the case, opened a safe deposit -box held by Gorch in a local bank, and found nothing but empty envelopes and blank deposit slips. QUICK! STOP THAT COLD IN THE DRY OR FIRST STAGE!
A cold ordinarily goes through three stages: The Dry Stage, the first 24 hours the Watery Secretion Stage, from 1 to 3 days; and the Mucous Secretion Stage. It is twice as easy stopped in the first as in the second or third stages. In fact, to let a cold run beyond the first stage is inviting trouble. As your doctor will tell you, there is nothing better you can take for a cold than Grove’s Laxative Bromo Quinine. It is expressly a cold remedy and not a “cure-all.” It is internal treatment which a cold requires. It is complete in effect. It does the four things necessary. First, it opens the bowels. Second, it combats the cold germs in the system and reduces the fever. Third, it relieves the headache and

Every druggist sells Grove’s Laxative Bromo Quinine, 30c and 50c. Only druggists more interested in making an extra profit rather than in your welfare offer you a substitute.
