v Six Bridge Trophies to Be Awarded Columbia Club Women Players to Compete. Accumulative scores ma<je by women during the season of the Columbia Club bridge - luncheon parties will be in competition for six trophies, presented recently by club officers. Plans were announced Wednesday at the first party. The trophies in contract and auction divisions will be awarded in addition to monthly prizes. The president's prize trophy, donated by John C. Ruckelshaus, club president, will be awarded to the player making the season's highest total contract score. The runner-up in the contract division will be awarded the Rottger prize trophy, donated by Curtis H. Rottger, club director. The third high contract player will be awarded the consolation Margo Payne trophy, given by Herbert A. Payne, chairman of the club games committee, in honor of his daughter. The Coffin prize trophy, donated by Charles E. Coffin, will be awarded to season's high score auction player. The runner-up will receive a trophy donated by the club election committee. The third high scorer will be given the treasurer’s trophy, donated by Frank A. Butler, treasurer and director.
