Five Events End Fair Harness Card Today w His Majesty Turns Mile in 2:00 1-2. Best Time of Meeting. to Annex Governor’s Pace: Parshall's Morley Frisco Cops Ayres’ Trot. Harness racing bids adieu to Indianapolis for another year today, with five events on the final program at the Indiana fair oval. Two early closing events headed the program, a 2-year-old trot and * 3-year-oid pace with stellar fields competing In each. A 2:18 pace for half-mile ‘rack performers premised plenty of action, while two consolation events for non-mcney winners were card°d. one in each gait. The fastest time of the meeting was turned in Thursday by His Majesty sensational 3-year-oid pacer, who conquered a fine field of older performers in the Governor’s 2:15 pace

McKlyo and Traveler finishing in that order. Selka Worthy, running her second race of the week, broke early and was out of it. Morley Frisco increased the 'edge in the second mile, covered in 2:01’ 2, with McKlyo just beating Selka Worthy for the place. Sep Palin, local driver, finally scored with Selka Worthy in the final mile, nosing out Frisco in 2:02. The first four-heat battle of the week developed In the 2:19 trot, one of the best events in the meeting. Mary McET.vvn came up from nowhere to win the first mile in 2:03 ! 2, with Erskine driving. Laconic. a reformed pacer, with Smith up. nosed out the daughter of Mr. MeElwvn in the second mile, the time being 2:04. The third heat produced another winner, when General Douglas lad all the way to the wire. The time was 2:09 1 2. He repeated the performance again in the final mile in 2:07 to get first money, Tallman driving. Roulette and The Druid staged a real duel in the 2:22 pace, the former repeating his win of Saturday. The first heat produced a head-and-head finish with the former getting the nod. In the second heat the rivals engaged in another bitter battle, with The Druid holding the edge at the finish. Roulette, driven by Sep Palin, came back in the final mile to get the edge again by a nose. The time was 2:04*2, 2:03*4 and 2:08 Doc Parshall turned in his second win of the day when he drove Mac Hanover to victory in three straight heats in the 2:13 trot. The time was 2:05, 2:05 and 2:06’ 2 . Volo Dear and Peter Goldfinch were the chief competitors.
