HITLER ORDERS DEMOCRACY TO BE ELIMINATED All Traces of Majority Rule to Be Replaced by Individual Rule. B>l rnitf'l Prtm BERLIN, July 7.—Political parties finally have been eliminated in Germany and the next task must be elimination of all remaining traces of democracy, Chancellor Adolph Hitler told a conference of state governors Thursday. If especially is important that majority rule be replaced by individual responsibility in the Nazi one-party state which has now been achieved, the chancellor said. He declared the forces of revolution must be led into the channels of evolution, and economic conditions must be bettered. In connection with the latter, he said he will not replace economic experts, who happen not to be Nazis, in favor of Nazis who do not understand economics. INDEPENDENT OIL MEN SLAP PROPOSED CODE Advertising Rule Is Menace, Says Secretary of Organization. Fear that the proposed oil industries code would eliminate newspaper and radio advertising by independent and underselling companies was expressed today by Russell S. Williams, secretary of the new Independent and Individually Branded Petroleum Association of America. The objectionable section is: “Broadcasting or publishing in any manner which lays claim to a policy generally underselling competitors is an unfair and uneconomic practice and is prohibited." This rule will handicap independent, cash and carry and track-side oil stations which operate at low overhead. Williams said, and will be fought by a committee of which Sterling F. Mutz, Lincoln, Neb., is chairman. DRYS TO HOLD RALLY Prohibition Party Members to Hold Joint Meeting. Prohibition party members of the Eleventh and Twelfth congressional districts will hold a joint meeting at 8 Wednesday night at Berea Church of Christ, Marion and Oliver avenues. Talks will be made by several speakers and a district organizer will be selected.

The second trial, ordered after the first ended in a jury disagreement, was scheduled to start July 11.
