Kathleen Smythe By f tiilffl Frcss CHICAGO. June 2. Kathleen Smythe declared today that she still loves Garfield Leon, the dancer, ' despite the fact that he plucks his eyebrows, and is terribly conceited.” Miss Smythe is suing Rudy Vallee's estranged wife. Fay Webb Vallee for SIOO,OOO on charges of stealing Leon's affections. She said in her first public comment since her suit was filed that she had met Leon in New York, and had lived with him as his wife until he became so interested in Mrs. Vallee that he left her.
