CITY CHURCH WORKER DIES; | LONG ACTIVE Mrs. Ella Reagan, 79, Is Taken at Home: Services to Be Private. Following an illness of seven weeks, Mrs. Ella Reagan, 79, one ofj the oldest members of the Central Avenue M. E. church, died Wednesday in her home, 1648 Central avenue. She had been active as a ; member of the church more then, fifty years. Private funeral services will beheld at 3 Friday in the home. Burial will be jn Crown Hill cemetery. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. j O P. Bundy and Mrs. William S. M'Master ; a son, H. E. Reagan; two grandchildren, Martha and Billy Me Masters, all of Indianapolis, and a brother, J. E. Dunningham, Tulsa, Okla. Time for the services has not been set. Survivors are two sons, Gerald Canfield, with whom she lived, and Shirley Canfield, South Bend; three daughters, Miss Maude Canfield, Detroit, Mich.; Mrs. R. L. Mason, Muncie. and Mrs. Robert Morgan, Alhambra, Cal., and four grandchildren. Her husband. John Canfield. died six years ago. BIG 4 FAIR RATES SET Tickets to Chicago Are Offered at Reduced Fares. Tickets at reduced fares will be offered by the Big Four railroad to Chicago for the Century of Progress Exposition. J. N. Lemon, division passenger agent, announced today. Round trip tickets will be on sale daily from today to Oct. 29. Prices for thirty-day stays will be $8.85 and $7.30 for fifteen days. Party fares for three or more taveling on one ticket will be $5 a person and be good for fifteen days. One hundred or more may travel on one ticket at $3.70 a person and stay ten days. Effective June 2 and continuing to Sept. 24, week-end tickets for Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be on sale at $5.50 each. Round trip Pullman fares in connection with the above tickets,' will be offered at 25 per cent off. MASONS TO GIVE DEGREE Entertainment to Follow Work of Indianapolis Lodge 669. Indianapolis lodge, No. 669, Free and Accepted Masons, will confer the Master Mason degree on candidates Saturday at 4. in the hall, 1322 West Morris street. Edward A. Lehman, worshipful master, will preside. Following th degree work, an entertainment program, sponsored by West Side chapter, No. 138, Royal Arch Mason*, will be presented. The Rev. R. T. Gwyn, pastor of the Centenary Christian church, will speak. Readings will be given by Miss Dorothy Tillman. Music for a dinner, which w ill be provided, will be given by the Troutman orchestra.
