At the same time, Paul Weiss of Barnum, chairman of the arbitration group, began notifying strike leaders to cancel further plauis lor the embargo. Agreement Is Approved A few hours later the pact was approved formally by the official arbitration committee selected by pool executives, definitely ending ihe strike as far as its recognized sponsors were concerned.
