Leisure Hour clubs need new programs of instrumental music and orrhestras for dances. Rhodius Park community house is asking for a dance orchestra for Wednesday night. Miss Laura Garrison, secretary at the Leisure Hour headquarters, will be pleased to book acts for the clubs. Sergeant Frank Owen will present a safety program tonight at the Mt. Jackson Leisure Hour club. Numbers will include Charlotte Grosskopf and Billy Schrolucke in a sketch; songs by the Proctor Brothers, accordian music by Robert Rothman; and guitar and violin music by Ronald and Clifford Fowler. The Indiana Ridge Runners will give a program of instrumental mr.'dc at Garfield community house Leisure Hour club tonight. The Western Union Messengers from WKBF will play tonight at the Olympic Leisure Hour club. Russell Berg will give a chalk talk. ing were written off the court records on a dismissal motion sustained Monday by Circuit Judge John W. Homaday. The petition was filed by the firm of Part & Parr of Lebanon, and Charles L. Tindall, Greenfield, attorneys for Mrs. Simmons. Indiana statutes require dismissal of indictments through failure to try them during three consecutive terms of court. The state, should it obtain new evidence, could reopen the case, but only after new grand jury indictments had been voted. The prosecution made no effort to forestall the quashing of the charges. Mrs. Simmons was released on a SIO,OOO bond Nov. 7, 1931, after a six-weeks' trial on the charge of poisoning her daughter, Alice Jean, at a family reunion picnic in Leb-
