A program that probably never has been on the air before will be broadcast Friday during the "Music Is My Hobby ’ feature over WENR and an NBC network at 6:15. The artists will be Richard Korn. TOLL TAKEN BT HIT-BUN AUTO Aged Pedestrian Suffers Serious Injuries When Struck by Car. Serious injuries were incurred by an aged pedestrian struck by the automobile of a hit-and-run driver and a policeman was hurt as a result of traffic accidents Thursday night and early today. John Angus, 74, of 1141 River avenue, was cut and bruised and is believed to have incurred internal injuries when he was struck by the car of a hit-and-run driver while walking at Howard and Harding streets. The car disappeared westward on Howard street. Chest injuries were incurred by patrolman Glyndon H. Macy early today as a result of a police car, in which he was riding, plunging into a fifteen-foot excavation at White river boulevard and Morris street. Mrs. Gertrude Bannon, 34, of 3740 Lake avenue, was cut and bruised when she was struck by an automobile while walking at English avenue and Sherman drive. Carl Kenninger, 33, of 1509 South East street, driver of the car, was not held. William Rink, 35, of 107 North Traub avenue, was arrested on a charge of failing to stop after an accident, after a car he was driving struck one driven by Alen Hart, 3534 West Twelfth street. No one was injured. PARTY WILL AID FUND Benefit Play Scheduled to Raise Money for Milk. A benefit milk fund card party will be given at 2 o’clock, May 1, in the Banner-W hitehiii auditorium, and the proceeds turned over to' the child hygiene division of the city health board. Mrs. Vivian Prochaska is general chairman and Mrs. Wiliam Hogsdon and Mrs. Ernest Millholland will be hostesses. Mrs. B. A. Boyer and Mrs. John Powell head the committee in charge of tables and door prizes. City hospital nurses will assist Dr. Matthew Winters in a health program.
