He erected the first unit of the old Deaconess hospital, predecessor of the present Indiana Christian hospital; the German Lutheran Orphanage and a number of public school buildings. Ai mes, 52, of 1429 Southeastern avenue, a resident of Indianapolis twenty-two years, died Tuesday in the city hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2 Saturday in the home. Burial will be in Floral Park cemetery. Mrs. John M. Ryan Dead Word of the death of Mrs. John M. Ryan, 70, former Indianapolis resident, at Washington on Wednesday night, was received here raday by relatives. Heart disease was the cause of death. Mrs. Ryan was the sister of Mrs. Frank E.
