Tudor Hall Pupils Hear *[Vassar Head Internationalism Stressed by College Chief „ in Lecture. Internationalism in college thought and method were stressed by Dr. Henry Noble MacCracken, president of Vassar college, in his lecture Thursday morning, before the pupils of Tudor Hal! Miss I. Hilda Stewart, Tudor Hall principal, introduced the speaker. Following the lecture. Dr. and Mrs. MacCracken, who were in the city for the day. were entertained at luncheon by the board of directors of the Indiana Vassar Club, of*'which Miss Carolyn Richardson is president. Museum Will Stage Child’s Style Exhibit Children’s costumes of Europe from the earliest period to the present, will be sketched by Mrs. Robert Davidson under the sponsorship of the educational committee of the Children’s museum at 10:30 Saturday morning at the museum. Kirgsburg. field engineer of the state department of conservation, will speak at 9:30 when junior high school pupils will study natural resources of Indiana. Girl Reserve Notes
Representatives of north, west and east grade school Girl Reserve clubs will meet at 4 Saturday at the Central Y. W. C. A. to complete plans for the annual Girl Reserves’ spring festival. Representatives of south side clubs will meet at the Prospect street center at 4 Wednesday. All Girl Reserves are invited to a free skating party to be held in the “Y" gym from 2 to 4 Saturday. “Mother Tounge Turns Matchmaker is the play which school No. 30 Girl Reserves are rehearsing to produce April 10. School 14 Club Is working on a project to beautify the rooms. They are making accessories under the direction of their adviser. Mrs. Myrtle Paige at the Tuesday meetings. New Officers Are Named by Lyceum Club Mrs. Merritt E. Woolf was elected president of the Thursday Lyceum Club at the luncheon meeting held at the home of Mrs. W. M. On the egg put three or four asparagus tips and pour a spoonful of the sauce over all. Daily Recipe SWEET POTATO CROQUETTES 4 large siceet potatoes 2 tablespoons butter 1 teaspoon salt 1-8 teaspoon pepper 1 egg sifted cracker crumbs Bake potatoes until soft. Scrape from shells and put through potato ricer. Add butter, salt, pepper and egg and beat well. Let cool and shape into small cylinders. Roll in cracker crumbs, dip m egg slightly beaten and roll again in crumbs. Fry in deep hot fat until a golden brown and drain on crumpled paper. Serve on a hot platter and garnish with parsley.
