Heroism exhibited in saving the life of Mrs. Amelia Adam, North Judson, Ind., has w'on the Carnegie medal for Edward J. Ewing of Winamac, employed at the Pennsylvania railroad station, it has been learned. According to the citation, Ewing dashed from the station and pushed Mrs. Adam from in front of an approaching train on Jan. 30, 1931.
