Jackson Club, organized Friday at 877 Collier street, will hold its first meeting Tuesday night. Approximately 110.000 persons have been entertained in Leisure Hour programs since Nov. 1, according to estimates made today by Dwight Ritter, Leisure Hour director. "Last week's attendance at the clubs was the best we have had," Ritter said. “There was an average attendance of 450 at, each meeting." Plans now are underway to start several more clubs, and extend the activities of several already organized into day-time sessions, Ritter said. Tuesday night Ritter will meet with a group of young men at the Michigan and Noble club, to organize them into a club similar to the one recently organized for young men past grade and high school age. Hr will meet with young men in the Oak Hill club Wednesday afternoon. The recreational institute being sponsored by Leisure Hour clubs and co-operating organizations will close tonight with a demonstration meeting in the Y. W. C. A. Games and old-fashioned dances will be features of the meeting. Robert K. Murray, recreational director, will distribute mimeographed folders of suggestions for home recreation, as well as games for parties, clubs and other gatherings.
