When Reynolds returned to his cab a rasping voice demanded. ‘ Where can I get a jug?” It wBS the woman panhandler. • He told her he didn’t know, but she directed Reynolds to drive her to a place, where she obtained a half pint of liquor.
After her ride, she tendered 15 cents. Reynolds told her she owed 75 cents. Reynolds, impassive to her protests, threatened to take her to police headquarters. Leslie had them ready when Ogden pointed out that the provisions abolishing local road levies were not contained in the title and that to use the funds for local road bond retirement is unconstitutional. Recalling the measures, senators l struck out, by amendment, the l county and tow nship road levy abol-
