ACTS TO SOLVE BREAD PROBLEM Head of Grocers Has Plan to End Price War. Indianapolis independent grocers will seek a solution of the bread price problem at a meeting Wednesday night, sponsored by the Indianapolis Retail Meat and Grocers’ Association, in the Hoosicr Athletic Club. A plan whereby the independent grocers, now forced to sell a pound loaf of bread for 7 cents, will be enabled to compete with chain stores, which arc continuing the 4ccnt price, will be presented, according to Fred Steinsbergor, president, and J.
