PASTOR CAUSES ARREST OF MAN HE BEFRIENDED Prisoner Faces Quiz in Looting of Church Safe Here. Wean’ of turning “the other rheeck,'' an Indianapolis minister and the pastor of a church in Kentucky joined forces with the result that Floyd Prince, 25, Morgantown, Ga„ is held by police at Cincinnati for questioning concerning robbery of the safe of the Englewood Christian church, 37 North Rural street, more than a year ago. The Rev. O. A. Trinkle, pastor of the church, and the Rev. Raymond McCord, Erlanger, Ky., co-operated In causing the arrest. According to the local minister, Prince appeared at his church in the summer of 1930, and was given money so he could go to St. Louis, where he said his mother was critically ill. Three u'peks later he returned with the statement that his mother had died. The pastor obtained a Job for him. Prince left shortly afterward. Six months later he returned and was aider! again. During his last visit the safe of the Englewood church was looted, some of the congregation's funds being taken. When letters from other ministers reached him stating that Prince was asking aid on the strength of purported membership in the local church, Mr. Trinkle became suspicious and started a search for Prince, ending in his arrest at Cincinnati,

TWO HELD BY COPS AS AUTO THEFT SUSPECTS Motorist Grabs Man He Claims Attempted to Start Car. Two men are held by police on vagrancy charges following attempts Thursday night to steal two automobiles. Ardie Higginson, 25. of 925 Paca street, was arrested at, Perry stadium by police after they noticed glass in the front door of a car had been broken. The car is owned by W. H. Keller, 5827 East Michigan street. Called to 1223 Wrst Washington street, police found Samuel Ziffrin, 3424 Guilford avenue, holding James Fukes, 220 Leeds avenue. Ziffrin said he caught Fukes attempting to start his automobile which was parked at the Washington street address.
