HEARING ON BANK DEBT PLEA READY TO START Judge Chambers to Consider Preferred Claims Petition. Hearing was to be held this afternoon before Probate Judge Smiley M. Chambers on a petition of Brandt C. Downey, receiver for the Washington Bank and Trust Company, that its claims against four subsidiary companies, for a total of $40,000, be ruled preferred claims. The debtor subsidiaries are the Capital City Realty Company, Hanover Realty Company, Realty Mortgage and Securities Company and No. 2 Realty Mortgage and Securities Company. Each is alleged to owe the parent concern SIO,OOO on notes. In the course of the hearing total indebtedness of the subsidiaries wili be disclosed as follows: Capital City Company, $15,541; Hanover, $22,150; Realty Mortgage, $43,244, and No. 2 Realty Mortgage, $37,628.
