June 10,-—A prohibition resubmission plank indorsed bv : President Hoover and leading churchmen will be presented to the! Republican convention by the ad-ministration-controlled resolutions committee, and will be adopted, barring an unexpected upset in a floor battleAlthough Senator Hiram Johnson (Rep., Cal.) raised a discordant note today with a demand for outright repeal, the resubmission program is satisfactory to party wets in the senate and national committee. Senator Hiram Bingham (Rep., Conn.), who had threatened a floor fight against prohibition, is satisfied with the Garfield-Brown-Hoo-vrr plank approved by Hoover.
