BARES RUM PARTIES High School Girl, 15. Tells of Youthful Revels. Stories of liquor parties attended by high school pupils were told in Juvenile court today by a 15-year-old Technical high school girl. Twenty-three defendants, fifteen of whom are high school boys, charged with contributing to the girl’s delinquency, heard the testimony. The girl told of visits to the Rendevous Grille in Irvington, closed a few days ago, where hundreds of youths are alleged to have drunk liquor. Edward E. Green, vice-principal of Technical high school, and Miss Ann Thatcher of the Tech faculty, were present at the juvenile court hearing. Among defendants are the girl’s father, brother and uncle, who are charged with contributing to her delinquency. Majority of the defendants have pleaded guilty. IT'S A PANTING SHAME! Two Pairs of Trovers Worth $lB5 Stolen From Laundry. Police pursed lips with prolonged whistles Thursday when Edward Zwicher, manager of the North Side laundry, 2929 Central avenue, reported that two pairs of trousers valued at $lB5 had been stolen from a delivery truck parked at 2316 Park avenue. The purloind pants, property of O. A. Chillson, 832 North Meridian street, were taken from the truck while the driver was making a delivery. Questioning the valuation, police checked the pants’ price with a local tailoring firm for verification. The purveyor was positive of the price and the police still are pursuing the pants.

GET SENATORS^ REGRETS Watson, Robinson Say Work Keeping Them From Convention. Indiana’s senators, James E. Watson and Arthur R. Robinson, pleading the stress of congressional work, telegraphed Ivan C. Morgan, Republican state chairman, their regrets at not being able to attend the state convention. The telegram sent the greetings of the senators to the convention and expressed faith in the re-elec-tion of Hoover as President.
