U..S. FILES BILL LISTING TOTAL WORLEY INCOME Particulars of Government Case Explained: Stay Granted. An itemized bill of particular?, petting out the government's case again** Claude M Worley on Income tax evasion charges, was filed in federal court Monday by the district attorney's office, as Judge Robert C. Baltzoli granted a two-day continuance in the trial of the former Indianapolis police chief. The trial will be held June 22, instead of June 20. Baitzell announced. to allow Michael Ryan, one of Worley's attorneys, to attend a political convention. The government's bill of particulars listed Worley's total income during 1927, 1928, 1929 and 1930 as $91.368 44 Bank deposits of $3,135.70 arc listed as having been made by Worley in 1927, including checks for $240 from the Central Trust Company of Illinois; $250 from Edward Tvaugott. $55 Trom the Hoosier Motor Club and S6O from Edward Traugott. Twelve purchases of Liberty bonds were listed, nine of them by Mike Maroney and three by Jacob Wolf. The bonds were valued by the government at $21,019 16. The bill listed Worley's income in 1928 a' $12,544.08. including $lO,324 €0 in Liberty bonds bought through Mike Maroney. Gross income for 1930 was estimated at $39,670.13. and for 1929 at $10,307 60. Worley is charged with having failed to file correct returns as required by law, and with having failed to pay taxes of more than $4 000 on a taxable income of approximately SB6 000.

Hogston Details ‘lnnocent’ Noise Makers That Are Condemned. Issuing his annual rules for the handling of Fourth of July fireworks. State Fire Marshal Alfred E Hogston today gave a list of "innocent looking things” which are on the condemned list and must not be sold. Declaring them to be 'powerful enough to seriously injure and possibly kill,” the fire marshal forbade the sale of the following in the interest of public safety: Victory Globe flash salute, K-O flash salute.
