DUCE IS HAPPY | WHEN TALKING i WITH WORKERS Asks About Their Children, How Much Money They Make. BY THOMAS B. MORGAN I nited Pre* Staff Correspondent ROME. May 31—Benito Mussolini gets his greatest ‘kick’’ out of mingling with working men. Whenever he is on a tour of inspection of public works under construction he is talking to the bricklayers, enginemen. mechanics, carpenters and laborers, the greatest part of the time. In his recent trip through the Pontine reclamation lands, which cover 200,000 acres, there was riot one group of workmen that he failed to visit. He knows actually what to ask them as he has not forgotten his years as a hod carrier and bricklayer. His questions usually are about how much money they are making whether they are saving any and how many children they have. It always pleases him to learn that they have eight or ten children.
