Mann, highway superintendent, suggested a half-oent levy as sufficient for 1932. which was raised by commissioners. Attempt to oust Mann.' launched by Democratic Commissioners Dow Vorhles and Thomas Ellis, has ended in circuit court to which Mann appealed his case. The fight caused commissioners to hold up wages of more than 209 road workers. These men. whose families have been dependent upon charity, will be paid from funds appropriated today.
