CITY STUDENT NAMED ON BOARD OF AEONS Herman Brecht Appointed to I. U. Campus Group. Announcement of the appointment of Herman Brecht of Indianapolis to the Indiana university board of aeons, highest governing body on the campus, has been made by President William Lowe Bryan. Brecht, a member of Delta Tau Delta fraternity and Blue Key, I upper classmen's fraternity, was one of three juniors receiving the api pointment. He is treasurer of the university Y. M. C. A. and is business manager of the 1932 Arbutus. Other appointees are Charles Harrell of Bloomington and E. Gayle Fitzsimmons of Kokomo. Bv L nitfd Prrtt RUBHVILLE, ‘ind., May s.—Loot of $1,200 was obtained by a man who robbed the Farmers Trust company here late Wednesday. An accident, brought about by the haste with which the robber worked, cost him 9800. and saved Robert L. Newkirk, cashier, only occupant of i the bank, from being locked in the 1 vault. Newkirk, who had been ordered i into the vault, watched with dismay as the robber slammed the door. A sack containing 9800 was wedged between the door and vault, however, preventing it from locking. The bandit fled withdut the sack.
