Federation of Clubs to Meet Friday Twenty-fourth annual convention w Seventh District Federation cf clubs win be held Friday at the Beverin. Registration of presidents and delegates will be held at 9. Mrs. R. o. McAlexander will read the club collect at 9:30, when the program will open. The morning session will be given over to reports of officers and department chairmen of the district and to revision of the by-laws. Nomination and election of officers will be held at 10:30. Offices to be filled are those of president, first vice-president and corresponding secretary, for a period of two years. State President to Talk Reservations for the luncheon to be served at 12:30 on the roof garden, must be made before Thursday with Mrs. E. L. Burnett or Mrs. Tilden Greer. The afternoon session will include an address by Mrs. Edward N. Canine, state federation president, Terre Haute, on “Obtaining Our Chief Objectives”; readings from •‘Elizabeth the Queen,” by Alice Baxter Mitchell, and a musical program by Mary Traub Busch, who will sing old English ballads. Music during the luncheon will be provided by Miss Victoria Montani, harpist. I. A. C. to Have Spring Supper Dance Tonight Indianapolis Athletic Club is inaugurating its April program of entertainment with a spring festival supper-dance tonight. The party will be held in the main dining room, which will be transformed into a spring garden with greenery and pastel blossoms. A mothers and daughters dinner is scheduled for next Friday night when athletic awards will be given the girls outstanding in the club’s athletic department. Miss Euphrasia Donnelly, a member of the United States Olympic swimming team in 1924, will speak. A special program will follow dinner Sunday night, April 17. Talking pictures will be shown in the gymnasium after the dinner hour. Ratti of Butler university will address the Alliance Francaise Thursday night, April 14, at the Washington on “The French Point of View in International Affairs.” A dinner in honor of the speaker will be given at 6:30. Professor Ratti, a native of Carrara, Italy, is head of the romance language department of Butler university. He received his master’s degree from Middlebury college, Vermont, and his doctor’s from the University of Grenoble, France. COLLEGE CHOIR TO PRESENT CONCERT Indiana Central college choir, directed by Mrs. Jane Johnson Burroughs, will present a concert at Immanuel Reformed church, Tuesday night. Both the choir of the college and the Girls’ Glee Club will sing in the choral festival to be held as a feature of the convention of the Indiana Federation of Music Clubs, Friday, April 22, at Roberts Park i Methodist Episcopal church. Missionary Education Institute Will Convene in City May 2
Missionary Education institute will hold its third annual meeting in Indianapolis, May 2,3 and 4, at the Broadway Methodist church. The insitute is conducted under the auspices of the National Missionary Education Movement, co-operating with denominational and inter-de-nominational agencies. The purpose of the institute is to serve the interests of area, state, and local leaders, teachers in conferences, and local churches in Indiana, Ohio, Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Kentucky. Among the leaders and advisors to appear on the program are: The Rev. Walter E. Getty. New York; Dr. T. H. P. Parish Dinner to Be Tribute to Washington George Washington’s baptismal anniversary will be celebrated with a parish dinner at the All Saints’ Cathedral Friday night, April 18. at the Cathedral house. Robert King will be the speaker. Music popular during Washington’s day, will be presented by the Indiana Central college string ensemble. A copy of Stuart’s portrait of Washington will be presented to the parish house. A tableau, “Washington, the Church Man,” will be presented by young people of the cathedral. Those serving dinner will wear colonial costumes, and decorations will be in keeping with the motif.

Bishop to Officiate at Wedding Marriage of Miss Mary Emily Bingham, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Herbert Bingham, to Russell Frazier Pierson will take place at 4 this afternoon at the home of the bride’s parents, 4429 North Illinois street. The bridegroom is the son of Mrs. Pearl Frazier Pierson, Granville, O. The Rt. Rev. Bishop Joseph Chartrand will perform the ceremony. Spring flowers in pastel shades will be arranged about the house. The bride will wear her traveling suit of beige wool, trimmed with silver fox, and will wear olack hat and accessories. Her shoulder corsage will be of scarlet ansmones and lilies of the valley. Miss Rush is Attendant Miss Martha Ann Rush, Cincinnati, cousin of the bride, will be her only attendant. She will wear a suit of cadet blue, trimmed with white, and will wear blue accessories. She will wear a shoulder corsage of Sweetheart roses and forget-me-nots. Charles Pierson, Toledo, 0., will be best man for his brother. An informal reception will follow the ceremony, after which the bride and bridegroom will leave by motor for a wedding trip.
