ordered on Sarah Shank and Douglass courses, where 25-cent fees now are in effect, was problematical. Fee slice after 5 is expected to draw thousands of golfers to the courses after working hours, particularly to South Grove, which is nearest the city. Sallee said these players usually are able to play only nine holes or less before dark and a full fee is not justifiable. Heretofore the board has frowned on the reduced fee plan, but under present conditions the board is expected to accept the proposal. Radium is reported to be worth $1,500,000 an ounce at the present time.
