NEW MOVIE HAS TWO' LEADING LADIES 'This Reckless Age/ With Frances Dee and Peggy Shannon Will Open at the Circle Friday for a Week. “'T'HE GOOSE HANGS HIGH,” Lewis Beach’s famous stage play which X has entered the category of stage productions which constantly supply material for amateur and professional talent throughout the country, has now reached the screen under the title of ‘This Reckless Age’’ and will be shown at the Circle during the week, starting Friday. Five film favorites of proven popularity head the cast of “This Reckless Age.” They are Frances Dee, Charlie Ruggles, Peggy Shannon, Charles Buddy Rogers and Richard Bennett. The picture is a fast moving sentimental comedy-drama of parents who have dedicated their lives to supplying every want of their children, who in turn, following the “jazz”

trend of this reckless age, give slight consideration to the gruelling selfdenial of their parents. In assisting Miss Shannon and Miss Dee to prominent roles in this picture, Paramount placed two popular leading women in one picture, the former a redhead and the latter a brunet. Miss Shannon, said to have exhibited capable talent and personality in ‘‘The Secret Call,” ‘‘Silence,” ‘‘The Road to Reno” and “Touchdown,” is well on her way to stellar prominence. Miss Dee is also a successful veteran of a number of films including Playboy of Paris,” “An American Tragedy” and “Rich Man’s Folly.” Bennett, with Frances Starr of ‘‘Five Star Final” note, carry the principal elder roles in “This Reckless Age.” Ruggles has a hilarious comedy part, and Rogers appears in his usual romance role. Selected short films and the weekly Paramount sound news reel will add variety to the Circle's program. tt tt INVITATIONAL PREVIEW TO BE HELD TONIGHT Tonight at 11:30 the Indiana theater will hold an invitational trade preview of the Douglas Fairbanks Jr., starring vehicle, “Union Depot,” which was completed several days ago by First NationalVitaphone, and is soon to be released for public showing. Among those receiving invitations to this special preview are the city’s press representatives and newspaper employes, heads of the various women’s clubs and leaders of the local Photoplay Indorsers organization. Turning from the usual trend of motion picture stories, “Union Depot” is said to present a real life story, bringing to the screen a host of characters that every one passes every day and knows nothing about. A Union depot in a large city is the novel and different setting around which the action of the picture revolves. Besides young Fairbanks, the cast of “Union Depot” features such stellar names as Joan Blondell, Guy
