B—Japan’s almost complete victory in League of Nations negotiations on the Manchurian diSpute is likely to arouse even more serious anti-Japanese agitation in China, officials here indicated today. On the basis of advices from Paris, it was indicated that the league council was prepared to grant Japan nearly all the powers she had demanded in Manchuria since beginning of the conflict with China. M, on the 30th day of December, 1931, sealed bids will be received by the Auditor of Marion County. Indiana, at the office of said Auditor in the Courthouse in the city of Indianapolis. for the purchase of bonds to pay the cost of Poor Relief in Marion County. Said bonds to be in the denomination of Five Thousand 1 $5.000.001 Dollars each, and shall bear interest at the rate of not to exceed six per cent 1600 per annum (bidder to designate the rate of Interest to be charged and the lowest ana best rate of interest to be considered in the award) payable semiannually on the 15th davs of May and November of the year 1932. and shall be divided into two equal series of twentv-two (22) bonds in each series. The first series principal and interest, snail mature and be payable on the 15th day of Mav, 1932, and the second series principal and interest shall mature and be n’"able on the 15th day of November. 1932.
