u. $. HOSPITAL TO OPEN DEC. 13 Dedication Rites Arranged by Veterans' Chief. Dedication of the new United States Veteran Bureau hospital near Riverside park has been set for Sunday, Dec. 13. Final details of the program are to be arranged at a meeting of the general committee Nov. 13, according to John H. Ale, regional veterans’ bureau manager and director of the hospital. Members of the general committee include Bowman Elder representing Mayor Reginald H. Sullivan; Dr. George Bowman, American Legion; Arthur Gresham, Veterans of Foreign Wars* Robert H. Bryson, American Red Cross; Dr. Frank Hutchins, Service Club; William H. Bock, Chamber of Commerce, and* representatives of the United Spanish War Veterans, disabled American Veterans, American War Mothers and Gold Star Mothers. Representatives of all patriotic societies and citizens interested in the movement are invited to attend the meeting next Friday after noon at 2.30 at the veterans’ bureau.
