PENSEASONS ARE SPECIFIED FOR HUNTERS Nov. 11 to Jan. 9 Are New Dates for Rabbits; Limit 10 a Day. Correct open season dates were called to the attention of hunters today by Walter Shirts, fish and game chieftain of the state conservation department. Shirts pointed out that dates named on licenses have been changed by the legislature. He particularly directed attention to the new rabbit season, Nov. 11 to Jan. 9. inclusive. The bag limit is ten a day. Other open season dates and bag limits follow: Ducks (except wood ducks and eider ducks)—Oct. 16 (noon) to Nov. 15; limit fifteen in the aggregate of all kinds, thirty in possession. Geese (including brant)—Oct. 16 (noon) to Nov. 15; limit four in the aggregate, eight in possession. Coot—Oct. 16 (noon) to Nov. 15; limit fifteen. Wilson or Jacksnipe—Oct. 1 to Dec. 31; limit twenty. Woodcock—Oct. 15 to Nov. 14; limit four. Rails and Gallinules—Sept. 1 to Nov. 30; limit tw’enty-five of all kinds, but not to exceed fifteen of one kind. Plovers and yellowlegs. No open season. Quail—Nov. 10 to Dec. 20; limit fifteen a day. Rabbits—Nov. 11 to Jan. 9; limit ten a day. Fox, Opposum, Raccoon, Skunk, Mink, Muskrat—Nov. 15 to Jan. 15. All dates are inclusive, Shirts said, excepting where specified that shooting starts at noon on opening day of season in case of migratory game birds.
