Estimate of the cost of the building has been placed at $23,000 by the commissioners. For the last several years, county officials have been targets of charges by The Times and the state ' fire marshal’s office because of deplorable living conditions and fire hazards of the buildings. Persons acquainted with the situation said the capacity of the proposed dormitory will give a small I measure of relief at the institution.
