By Geritpt-Hoicard .Yrt apnprr •AlHnnc.c WASHINGTON, June 30.—More than four and one-half billion dollars will become available Wednesday for expenditure by the federal goverment during' the next twelve months. • /T he exact total of appropriations Wot the fiscal year of 1932 is $4,- ■ 74,073,917.07. w The size of next year's treasury i Jeflcit will depend in part on ' whether the entire amount is spent. This all is linked with the question of whether taxes also shall be increased. All of this tremendous amount may not be principally because of the economy campaign President Herbert Hoover instituted early this spring. The President has said he hoped to save around $300,000,000. The treasury department, which must handle the payment of these appropriations through the various government departments, gets the biggest slice—a fourth—of the billions. The total appropiration for .department is $1,318,432,322, but more than one billion of this amount was voted, for public debt purposes. If all of the sum that becomes available today for federal expenditures were expended equally, day by day, the outgo from the treasury ■frould be something over $12,000,000 daily. QUIZ SUSPECTS ! IN ROBBERY OF : THEATER FUNDS Police Hunt Auto Bandits Who Got SI,OOO in Daylight Holdup. Police today sought two bandits who Monday noon forced the auto of Miss Grethyl Zaring, daughter of A. C. Zaring, operator of a north side theater, to a curb and fled with SI,OOO, receipts of the theater. Car used in the holdup, which had been reported stolen June 18, was found late Monday at 234 East Twelfth street. The car was the property of Jacob Solctken, 5114 Washington boulevard. Police questioned four men during the night in connection with the stickup.
