Fathers and Mothers— Think It Over!

t Statistics prove that nine out of ten juvenile criminals brought before courts of law have no moral or religious training whatsoever. , * Sorrow and shame shadow the parents who neglect their responsibility. Children taught none of the fundamentals of ethics and religion grow up in moral and spiritual poverty. v The value of home training and moral education cannot be over-es-timated. They make for the most effective building of human character; there is no more effective agency in combating the growth of vice and crime. Judges who are now dealing with thousands of boys and girls have reached the conclusion J ?t weakness is the cause of most of our social evils today.

If you are leaving ethical training out or the education of your ohUdren. you must accept the responsibility.

By all means, let every taxpayer realize the importance of his task of building the human character of our youth, who are the citizens of tomorrow. The church is pledged to morality and spirituality. Regular attendance to any church regardless of sect or denomination during the period of character formation would ultimately relieve the great congestion that is tying up our criminal courts and jails. Father and Mother, are your children growing up without the influence of any moral or religious training? What will become of them and their children? Will they be an asset or a liability to society?
