Bridge Fete ! to Be Held at Highland Weekly luncheon -bridge of Highland Goif and Country Club will be held today in the tea room and; lounge at house. The Mav committee, headed by Mrs. John J Kennedy, assisted by Mesdames Paul Ragan, Lyman Whitaker. Carl Sherer. William Stark, William Umphrey. and Homer Lathrop, will be in charge. Mr3. Frank Kotteman is season chairman. Luncheon bridge parties will con- i tinue each week during the season. Each Friday will be ‘‘Ladies day," and luncheon will be served in the grill, following golf. Mrs. C. H. McCaskey, woman’s golf chairman, will be in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Geneva Nelson, manager and hostess, has planned a novel program for the summer, with special dinners Thursday night, buffet suppers Sundays, and dinner dancing Saturdays. Swimming will begin with the official opening of the pool May 30. Reservations for tables today were made by: Mesdames C. D. l/asher, J. W. Emhardt, R. E. Smith, John Kennedy, T. F. Carson, John Roberts, Frank Kotteman, Ralph Knode, Homer Lathrop, Carl McCaskey, and Miss Hazel Reissner. A dinner bridge will be held on Saturday night at the clubhouse, with the May committee in charge. m Sorority Will Be Entertained at Pajama Party Beta chapter, Theta Sigma Delta sorority, will entertain Saturday night with a pajama party at the Antlers. At this time rough initiation will be held for the following pledges: Miss Clara Clark, Ceannta Vinci, Evelyn Hunt and Eulon Davis. A swimming party and midnight lunch will be held after initiation. Members attending will include: Mesdames Francis Miller, Mary Piceolne. Misses Mildred Van Horn. Betty Mercer. Helen Meikle. Kathleen Bpear. Deprarmo Spear. Wilma Branstetter. Bernice Moehler. Helen Stringer. Ann Muellerj. Dorothy Porter. Gertrude McNece. Emily Hensley and Catherine Clark. Jewish Group Elects Year's Council Heads Miss Julia Goldberger was elected president of the Council of Jewish Juniors at the last meeting of the year held Sunday afternoon in the Kirshbaum Community center. Miss Doris Bernstein is the retiring president. Other new officers are: Misses Jane Slutzky, vice-president; Dorothy Fritsch, second vice-presi-dent; Frieda Brill, recording secretary; Hilda Greenburg, corresponding secretary, and Adelaide Cohn, treasurer. A musical program was presented by Miss Jean Goldsmith, who sang, and Miss Brill, who played a group of selections. Plans were made for the annual luncheon to be held soon. CHAPTER MEMBERS WILL PLAY BRIDGE Inactive members of Alpha chapter, Kappa Kappa Sigma sorority, will be entertained by the active members at a bridge party at 8 tonight at the Ethelenn tearoom, 3710 North Meridian street. Arrangements are in charge of Miss Florence Wilson, Mrs. Donald Ball and Mrs. Cecil Altenbach. Guests will be: Mesdames Roland Cox. Bruce Connelly', Ralph Hueber; Misses Ruth Howells.
