PLOT HINTED TO MUDDLE BROWN DEATHJVIDENCE Seeming Anxiety to Hide Facts May Lead to Mystery’s Solution. By United Pr* FRANKLIN. Ind., April 17. Indications that someone in the vicinity of the Lee Brown home in Brown county, is suppressing evidence in the investigation of two deaths there last December, was claimed today by investigators. Several burned keys, carried by Paul Brown, have been found in a tool box on the running board of an auto belonging to him, authorities said. They added that the keys were not there three weeks ago. Paul Brown is sought on a charge of murdering his parents. Two bodies were found in the ashes of the home last Dec. 15, after Chester Bunge, working for the Browns, reported that Paul Brown had shot both his parents and Bunge, and ignited the home. Dispute has arisen as to whether one of the bodies is that of Mrs. Brown or P2ul Erown, neither of whom has been seen since the tragedy. Bunge has recovered from his bullet wounds. Revelation of the new evidence was made by Howard P. Robinson, prosecutor of Johnson and Brown counties; Fremont Weddle, Brown county sheriff, and Charles Bridges, deputy state fire marshal. It is the third time that keys, all apparently in or near the home while it was burning, have turned up to puzzle investigators. Authorities consider the indications that someone is endeavoring to suppress or confuse the evidence, a hopeful sign for solution of the baffling case.
