MURDER JURY OUT One of Five Verdicts for Mrs. Marie Cole. Bii Timm Spo'iol RUSHVILLE, Ind., April 9.—Reporting their inability to agree on a verdict in the murder case against Mrs. Marie Cole of Indianapolis, jurors today were ordered to continue deliberations by Judge John A. Tttsworth. The jury had been deliberating eighteen hours at noon today. Mrs. Cole is charged with being an accessory to the murder, Oct. 31, of her husband, Raymond Cole. After a trial of three weeks, jurors received the case late Wednesday and spent the night deliberating. Mrs. Cole, the state alleges, plotted with Prank Jordan to slay Cole, so they might continue an illicit romance Jordan is serving a life sentence at the state prison for the crime. Under Titsworths instructions, the jury may return one of five verdicts. They are: First degree murder with death in the electric chair, which is sought by the state; first degree murder with life sentence; second degree murder or manslaughter convictions and ac- j quittal.
